Plan Options

Campus dining is a large part of your college life. Our goal is to make your dining experience the best it can be by providing delicious, healthy and nutritious food in a relaxed atmosphere. We can provide a nutritional breakdown of every item served each meal. We consistently strive to deliver superior service each day. Lake Superior Dining Services specializes in meeting a variety of dining needs related to students varied tastes and preferences, vegetarian and other dietary choices and hectic lifestyles.

How to Enroll 

To set up your Laker account or make deposits ($25 minimum), stop at the ID Office in the Walker Cisler Center Monday - Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. You may deposit cash, a check or arrange for a payroll deduction. Arrangements may also be made for Anchor Dollars. If you have any questions, please call ext. 2552.

Individual Plan Options

  • Platinum Plan
    Provides you with 20 meals each week and $150 in Laker Bucks each semester. Unused meals expire each week on Saturday night. Unused Laker Bucks roll over from Fall to Spring Semester and expire at the end of the Spring Semester.
  • Gold Plan
    Provides you with 12 meals each week and $300 in Laker Bucks each semester. Unused meals expire each week on Saturday night. Unused Laker Bucks roll over from Fall to Spring Semester and expire at the end of the Spring Semester. 
  • Silver Plan
    Provides you with 10 meals each week and $400 in Laker Bucks each semester. Unused meals expire each week on Saturday night. Unused Laker Bucks roll over from Fall to Spring Semester and expire at the end of the Spring Semester. 
  • Bronze Plan 
    Provides you with 6 meals each week and $600 in Laker Bucks each semester. Unused meals expire each week on Saturday night. Unused Laker Bucks roll over from Fall to Spring Semester and expire at the end of the Spring Semester. The Bronze plan is only available to residents of the Apartments and Townhouses who have been out of high school for 27 months. 

Anchor Dollars is a commuter off-campus addition to your LSSU ID card.  These monies can be used for snacks and to purchase meals at the Quarterdeck Dining Hall, the Galley, the Laker Cafe and also at the Norris Center Concessions during Lake State sporting games.  Deposits may be added to your student card at the ID Office located in the Cisler Center.  Anchors Dollar balances will continue to transfer year to year and will not expire.

 

 

Laker Bucks are dollars that comes with the meal plans.  Each Laker Buck is worth one dollar and can be used at any dining location on campus.  Laker Bucks are useful for in-between snacks and to purchase extra meals at the Quarterdeck Dining Hall, the Galley, the Laker Cafe and also at the Norris Center Concessions during Lake State sporting games.  Each additional meal swipe is $2.50 from your Laker Bucks.  Laker Bucks remaining at the end of fall semester will transfer over to spring semester.  Remaining Laker Bucks at the end of spring semester will expire.
